Portrait of Linda Gruzde, smiling

Hej, I’m Linda.

I make things I’d stop for, so I hope you do too.

Creative Marketing & Digital Experience Coordinator at Orbiloc — The Safety Light. Five years in, one company, three roles: I run the content, the brand, and the website that carries them. Video, photo, ambassador work, campaigns, everyday social. Latvian, in Aarhus since 2018.

The Naturli’ pitch

A month-long pitch, one direct message to a CEO, and an internship that didn’t exist until I made it.

Self-initiated Motion design Pitch

Volunteer work

Volunteer photo and video for a café I believed in and a programme that took me in as one of their own.

Volunteer Photography Event coverage

Passion projects

Photoshoots for friends, a 20-minute wedding film cut from one very long day, made because I love doing it.

Personal work Photography Wedding film

Before the job titles

A client brief for Skagen, made with my favourite team; an internship at Wedbox where I could finally shoot product freely; and one wedding video I made on the side.

Where I’ve been

Work

Orbiloc — The Safety Light

5+ years

One company, three jobs. I joined as a student and stayed because I actually believe in what we make.

Creative Marketing & Digital Experience Coordinator
Sep 2023 — now
Now I run paid media end to end, manage partnerships and sponsorships, and split time between the brand’s visual output and its digital infrastructure — I contributed to rebuilding the B2C site and I’m currently building a new portal for retailers. Still the person shooting and editing when a brand needs it, just with a lot more happening behind the scenes now.
Marketing Assistant
Feb 2022 — Sep 2023
Took on more: scripting and producing a video series to answer the questions customer service kept hearing, growing the ambassador programme, and doing the print design work that ended up in retailers’ hands. This is where the role stopped being “help with social” and became “own a piece of the brand.”
Student Assistant
Jun 2021 — Feb 2022
Started part-time alongside my studies, running Orbiloc’s day-to-day social media and pulling together assets for the team’s paid campaigns. First time getting hands-on with a brand’s full content rhythm, not just individual projects.
Digital Media Intern · Naturli’ Foods

Facebook lead-gen campaigns, localised social content, and new SEO category pages.

Videography Intern · Wedbox

Product-demo videos for a wedding photo-booth app, plus a wedding film on the side.

Videographer · Trials Club “Karters”, Latvia

Fast-turnaround recap videos for a Latvian bicycle trials club, delivered reliably.

Education

Business Academy Aarhus

BA top-up, Digital Concept Development
AP degree, Multimedia Design & Communication
Volunteer: stage hand at NorthSide · video club mentor at BAAA ProtoLab
footnote Also: internationally certified to skipper a pleasure craft (Yachting Union of Latvia). Useful for harbour shoots, excellent at parties.

Kind words

Linda has a high sense of responsibility for the duties she’s undertaken — she always does them on time and with thought. She’s active, energetic, and full of ideas, open and forthright in how she communicates, and has no trouble working as part of a team.
Sibilla VegeDirector, Youth Club “Mums”
Linda has a systematic and thorough approach to her work, and isn’t afraid to do her own research to get a better understanding of things — her SEO work was a good example, she really dug in to get results there. She’s curious and helpful beyond her own tasks too, and pitched in for the Creatives during a period of high pressure, which was genuinely appreciated. On a personal level, she’s accommodating, optimistic, and easy to be around — the kind of person who fits into most workplaces well.
